SKAL Academy was founded in 2016 by Shane Kiser, an educator, instructional coach, and technology leader with a passion for helping students succeed.
What began as a tutoring company was built around a simple philosophy: equip students with the skills and confidence to reach a point where they no longer needed him. The goal was always for students to eventually “put me out of business.”
As Shane's work expanded from supporting students to coaching teachers and supporting school leaders, the vision for SKAL Academy grew with it.
Today, that same philosophy guides everything he creates: Helping every student succeed by empowering the people who guide them.
